Reading in Class Year 1 and 2

Until the middle of October we will carry on reading with your child on a 1:1 basis, weekly or fortnightly, and will change their books at this time.

We will let you know when we change to the Read write Inc system.

Thank you.

Memory Munch Picnic!

Thank you to everyone who joined our children for our ‘Memory Munch Picnic’! We all had lots of fun sharing our memories and making new ones together! Here our some of our favourite moments…

Marvelous Music!

In Year 2 RG this term we are all having class music lessons. We will be learning how to play a variety of percussion instruments and creating our own class percussion ensemble! Today we had lots of fun creating rhythms together using the djembes. Keep an eye out for details of our class concert later on in the term… CIMG7802CIMG7809 CIMG7817

Picnic Preparation!

We are all really excited for our Memory Munch picnic! Today during our science lesson we researched into all the different food groups and how these help us maintain a healthy and balanced diet. With this in mind, we designed and created our very own sandwiches! We can not wait to share these with you tomorrow!

Please keep an eye out for our star learner of the day! Larry the Lion is always on the look out for children he can come home with to celebrate super behaviour for learning.

Larry is a keen and extreme reader. He will be giving certificates to children who are also showing super skills and progress in their reading… Keep an eye out for them coming home with your child!
